Joya Kilcrest doesn't sound nor look like what the world considers a woman of God, woman of Virtue, a woman of Excellence. But that is exactly who she is. Joya grew up in Camden, NJ which is considered one of the most dangerous cities in America. She became a mother at the age of 16 years old who managed to graduate from High School. Very early in her life she always felt a connection with God and people , she always felt different then how she portrayed herself to be. She never could find balance in who she was and who God wanted her to be.
As a young adult , Joya began to attempt to know God for herself. She continued her life she began to finally identify her purpose in life. At the time she didn't want to believe it or do it. She basically told God "not me " and definitely "not now".
Joya left in her early 20's to Atlanta, Ga in search of her destiny . In the interim her destiny was shown, but she didn't want to believe that she was called for the people and to uplift others. The more she did her own thing , the more it was revealed to her that it is not about what she wanted to do. Joya begins to know " sometimes he will set you back, to set you up."
The more she tried to do her own thing. The more she people crossed her path wanting advice, friendship, words of wisdom. Meanwhile she was going thru some of her toughest times. During her trials birthed the woman we know. The woman that is doing things her way purposely.
Joya is a mother of three girls who loves motivating and uplifting others. Her mission is to spread goodness and show God's grace. To encourage lives to BYou BFree BBlessed. She is an awesome speaker who loves to encourage and promotes being yourself. "Its not about your past, its not about who you used to be, or the things you have done. Its not about how you look, your piercings, your tattoos , your clothes, or where you are from. Its about being who you are and living the life God has destined YOU to live. Its about Revealing You."
Not being who the world thinks you are or being what they say is right. It is about being YOU.
